Job summary

Samancor Chrome Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent Electrical to lead the asset capability assurance program for the Limpopo site. The role requires strong electrical engineering expertise, a GCC and ECSA registration, and a track record in maintenance strategy and capital budgeting.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current/HT) and GCC certification.
Professional registration with ECSA.
Project Management Certificate/Diploma or MBA/MBL may be advantageous.
Master’s Degree or related advanced qualification.
6 years’ relevant experience, preferably with 2 years’ managerial experience.

Responsibilities

Drive maintenance management and continuous improvement of asset capability assurance in a safe manner.
Lead SHEQ compliance and utilise IMS for reporting status.
Manage the section including labour stability, performance, recruitment and disciplinary actions.
Define and manage maintenance strategies to ensure safe operation and cost efficiency.
Oversee budgeting, capital projects and vendor/contractor management for maintenance.
