Job summary

A leading plastic packaging manufacturer in South Africa is looking for a production operator to ensure efficient operations of injection molded machines. The ideal candidate will have a Matric certificate with Maths or Maths Literacy and be proficient in English. Responsibilities include maintaining production output and quality targets while adhering to SHEQ standards. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy (50% min).
• 1 to 2 years experience in a similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective operation of machinery to achieve productivity targets.
• Perform basic visual checks on machine(s) and report issues.
• Maintain SHEQ standards during production processes.

To be responsible for the effective operation of the machine(s)/ process(es) allocated in order to achieve the planned OEE, production output and quality targets.This includes performing basic visual checks on the machine(s)/equipment prior to production, reporting of any maintenance/other problems timeously and ensuring that SHE standards are maintained.

Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy (50% min) and proficiency in English, as well as Computer literacy.

1 to 2 Years experience in a similar environment would be an added advantage.
