Job summary

A leading manufacturer of packaging solutions is seeking a responsible operator for recycling machines at their Brits facility. The ideal candidate will have a Matric certificate with Maths or Maths Literacy, proficiency in English, and computer skills. This full-time position requires 1-2 years of related experience and offers opportunities in a dynamic work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Matric required with Maths or Maths Literacy.
• 1 to 2 years experience in a similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling machines to achieve production and quality targets.
• Perform basic checks and maintenance on machines.
• Report maintenance issues timely and store recycled products correctly.

To be responsible for the effective operation of the recycling machine(s)/process(es) allocated in order to achieve the planned production output and quality targets.This includes performing basic checks/maintenance on the machines prior to recycling, reporting of any maintenance/other problems timeously, storing the recycled products correctly, and completing the necessary recycling admin accurately and timeously, while ensuring that SHE standards are maintained.

Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy (50% min) and proficiency in English, as well as Computer literacy.

1 to 2 Years experience in a similar environment would be an added advantage.
