Job summary

Ambitions Travel Recruitment is seeking a Travel Operations Coordinator in Cape Town. This hybrid role combines office days and remote work to oversee booking administration, supplier confirmations and payment tracking for luxury travel experiences.

You will work closely with Travel Consultants, manage multiple bookings, and ensure smooth guest journeys across Africa. A hands‑on operator with strong attention to detail will thrive in this independently owned luxury specialist.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in travel operations or B2B reservations.
• Experience in luxury travel operations preferred.
• Strong invoicing, reconciliation and payment-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of each booking; keep status, notes and details accurate.
• Load supplier invoices, guest information and booking forms as they arrive.
• Maintain itineraries and booking links, clearly marking confirmed versions.
• Confirm and reconfirm services with suppliers and resolve discrepancies.
• Book restaurants, guides, transfers and meet‑and‑greet services as agreed.
• Raise supplier invoices and track payment due dates; reconcile against rates.
• Manage supplier changes and update invoices and credit notes.
• Check final itinerary details, arrange printing and courier, share guest details with properties.
