Status Staffing in Paarl is seeking a showroom manager to drive sales and oversee showroom operations across retail and trade channels. You will lead design consultations, maintain premium floor visuals, and manage end-to-end sales processes.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in showroom/senior retail sales within furniture/home décor, with strong regional connections and bilingual English/Afrikaans skills. A valid SA driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of showroom management or senior retail sales in furniture/home décor/interior design.
• Established connections with interior decorators, architects, and trade clients in Winelands/Cape Town.
• Strong understanding of furniture materials, upholstery, timbers, fabrics, and indoor/outdoor performance.
• Proficiency in inventory/POS software (OMNI, SAP or similar), plus MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans for the Paarl market.
• Valid SA driver's license and reliable transport.
• Proven ability to meet showroom sales targets across retail and trade channels.
• Experience growing trade customer base and onboarding new trade accounts.
• Maintain showroom visuals and floor presentation with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Drive showroom sales to meet/exceed monthly and annual targets.
• Cultivate relationships with local interior decorators, designers, architects, and trade clients to grow the pipeline.
• Host trade consultations, showroom walkthroughs, and exclusive events for trade partners.
• Guide retail customers through design consultations, product specs, customization options, and material selections.
• Maintain visual merchandising, floor displays, and brand-aligned layout standards.
• Oversee daily floor operations and ensure a luxury hospitality experience for visitors.
• Manage end-to-end sales processing, quotes, orders, and payments in the ERP/POS system.
• Coordinate with logistics/warehouse teams for timely delivery and installation.
