Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Reservations specialist for a prestigious luxury safari lodge in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. You will manage enquiries, process bookings, and provide guests with accurate information on rates, packages and facilities.

The role requires exceptional communication, organization, and a service-minded approach to ensure a seamless guest experience from enquiry to arrival. Previous reservations experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations for hotel/lodge or luxury hospitality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming reservation enquiries via telephone, email and other channels.
• Process individual and group reservations accurately and efficiently.
• Provide guests with detailed information regarding accommodation, rates, packages and lodge facilities.
• Manage booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations and special requests.
• Ensure all guest information is accurately captured and maintained on the reservation system.
• Communicate with lodge management and departments regarding arrivals and guest requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries and convert potential bookings into confirmed reservations.
• Maintain relationships with travel agents and industry partners.
