Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef for a luxury catering environment in Cape Town. You will lead the pastry section, concepting and executing desserts, cakes and pastries for weddings, corporate events and private parties, while maintaining high standards and a strong portfolio.

You will manage inventory, cost control, and training of junior staff, collaborating with the Head Chef to integrate pastries into diverse menus and ensuring timely delivery for multiple events.

Qualificações

• Formal culinary or pastry arts qualification from a reputable institution.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience as a Pastry Chef in luxury catering settings.
• Strong portfolio of pastry creations demonstrating versatility in desserts, cakes and pastries.
• Proficiency in cost management, inventory control and supplier relations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team under pressure.
