Job summary

The Royal Portfolio is looking for a Maintenance Handyman at Royal Malewane Lodges. This role involves ensuring maintenance standards are met, performing checks in arrival rooms, and maintaining all hotel equipment. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a luxury lodge setting and be proficient in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building tasks.

Successful candidates must also exhibit professionalism, effective communication in English, and a positive attitude. Candidates with South African citizenship or a valid work permit will be favored.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a luxury lodge environment.
• Previous work experience in Maintenance.
• Must be well presented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operations of maintenance department meet company standards.
• Conduct maintenance checks in all arrival rooms.
• Check public areas for maintenance issues.
• Ensure all hotel equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in maintaining maintenance stock levels.
• Report any breakages or problems to management.
