Job summary

HotelJobs in Limpopo partners with a luxury safari camp to recruit a hands-on maintenance technician. You will support the Maintenance Manager in keeping the lodge, guest accommodation and facilities safe, functional and well presented.

The role covers routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs across electrical, plumbing, pumps and solar systems, with supervision of a small team and coordination of contractors. A valid driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification or certification in electrical, plumbing or a related technical field.
• Proven maintenance experience in safari lodge, hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment.
• Practical knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, pumps and solar systems.
• Experience supervising a small team would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and coordinate routine and preventative maintenance across the property.
• Fault finding and repairs across electrical, plumbing, pumps and solar systems.
• Supervise maintenance team and outside contractors when required.
• Keep accurate records of completed work and equipment checks.
