Placements24 is seeking an experienced Banqueting Manager to oversee luxury events in Centurion. You will manage client liaison, event setup, service execution and post-event breakdown, ensuring flawless delivery for corporate events, weddings and private parties.

You will lead a team of wait staff and supervisors, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and maintain high standards of service, safety and cost control while working across irregular hours as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in banqueting or senior events role.
• Experience with high-end events and VIP clients.
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of banqueting operations from client liaison to post-event breakdown.
• Lead and motivate the banqueting team, including waiters and supervisors.
• Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and plan details.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and other departments for smooth event flow.
• Oversee setup of event spaces according to floor plans and client specs.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards during events.
• Manage inventory of banqueting equipment and service items.
• Handle client feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct pre-event and post-event briefings with the team.
• Control costs related to banqueting operations, including labor and supplies.
