Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily delivery routes for a fleet of vehicles, considering factors such as delivery time windows, vehicle capacity, traffic patterns, and fuel efficiency.
• Utilize specialized route planning software (e.g., Route4Me, ORTEC, or similar) to create efficient and cost-effective routes.
• Analyze delivery data, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times, to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team and drivers to ensure smooth execution of planned routes and to address any real-time challenges or deviations.
• Maintain accurate records of all planned routes, driver assignments, and performance metrics.
• Monitor delivery performance against planned schedules and KPIs, reporting on key findings and recommending adjustments.
• Work closely with warehouse and inventory management teams to coordinate pick-ups and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, specifically in route planning, dispatch, or transportation management.
