Job summary

Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd in Midrand is seeking a detail-oriented PO and logistics administrator to manage PO lifecycle, weight reconciliation, and transporter contracts. You will coordinate with procurement and finance, track invoicing and performance KPIs, and support month-end accruals.

The role requires SAP exposure, advanced Excel and a solid understanding of contract terms, weighing processes, and freight logistics.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical/analytical ability with variance calculations.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic dashboards.
• Experience with SAP/procurement systems.
• Understanding of basic contract terms (SLAs, Incoterms is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Raise, amend, and close POs on the SAP/procurement system.
• Match POs to supplier quotes, contracts, and delivery notes.
• Follow up on outstanding/overdue POs with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile PO values against invoices (3-way match).
• Resolve PO/invoice discrepancies with procurement/finance.
• Maintain PO tracking register/dashboard.
• Support month-end PO accrual reporting.
• Maintain transporter contracts, SLAs, rate schedules.
• Track renewal dates and flag expiries.
• Monitor transporter performance against KPIs.
• Compile weekly/monthly transporter scorecards.
• Log and follow up on non-conformances or penalties.
• Coordinate performance review meetings with transporters.
• Support tender/rate negotiation admin.
• Capture weighbridge mass and destination weights.
• Calculate and report weight variances by transporter/route.
• Raise shortage claims and debit notes.
• Maintain transporter contract register.
• Prepare transporter performance scorecards and KPIs.
• Attend transport reviews and record minutes.
