Placements24 is seeking a diligent Logistics Operations Specialist to join our Kimberley team for on-site logistics execution. You will manage shipments, coordinate with carriers, and monitor performance to ensure timely deliveries within a dynamic supply chain environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on operations, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize processes and support daily logistics activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics, shipping, or supply chain support role.
• Familiarity with logistics processes and documentation.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and standard office productivity tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage logistics orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including shipping manifests and delivery confirmations.
• Assist in resolving logistical issues and exceptions as they arise.
• Monitor operational performance and identify areas for process improvement.
