Placements24 is seeking an efficient Logistics Coordinator to manage its Kimberley operations in the Northern Cape. You will plan, execute, and monitor shipments, coordinate with transport providers, and maintain accurate records to ensure reliable service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination, strong knowledge of transport management and warehouse operations, and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a logistics coordination or similar role.
• Strong understanding of transportation management and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Must be able to work full-time and be present at Kimberley location.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to optimize efficiency and cost.
• Coordinate with truck drivers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage warehouse inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including manifests and bills of lading.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
