RecruiTech in South Africa is seeking an experienced sales professional to fuel new business growth in road freight and courier logistics. You will identify opportunities, generate leads, and manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing.

Based in Johannesburg or surrounding areas, you will build long-term relationships with corporate clients, tailor logistics solutions, and negotiate terms to meet monthly and annual targets. A proven track record in logistics sales is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in new business sales.
• Proven experience selling road freight, courier, transport or logistics services.
• Demonstrated track record of winning new clients.
• Strong cold-calling, prospecting and lead-generation skills.
• Experience dealing with B2B / corporate clients.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Target-driven, commercially minded and self-motivated.
• Able to manage the full sales cycle independently.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Based in Johannesburg or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities within the road freight and courier market.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and market research.
• Develop relationships with prospective corporate and commercial clients.
• Understand client freight, transport and delivery requirements.
• Present suitable logistics and courier solutions.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to closing.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual new business targets.
• Onboard new clients and develop long-term relationships.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts.
