Placements24 is seeking a Logistics Network Analyst to optimize the company's logistics network in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on data-driven analysis to enhance efficiency across transportation and warehousing operations.

You will model scenarios, assess costs, and develop strategic recommendations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a competitive logistics infrastructure in the Richards Bay region and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Logistics, SCM, IE or Statistics.
• 3–5 years in logistics analysis, network design or supply chain planning.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data modeling ability.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Familiar with transportation and warehousing operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model the existing logistics network to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop and evaluate network scenarios considering costs and utilization.
• Interpret large datasets related to logistics operations.
• Collaborate with operations, transportation and warehousing teams.
• Prepare reports and presentations on network performance and recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and report trends and deviations.
• Assist in evaluating logistics partners and providers.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the network.
• Stay updated on industry best practices in network design.
