Placements24 seeks a diligent Logistics Coordinator for our Soweto hub to manage shipment coordination and inventory, ensuring accurate records and smooth supply chain operations.

You will work with warehouse staff, drivers, and external partners to schedule shipments, monitor stock levels, and resolve issues quickly while maintaining high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination, warehousing, or related admin role.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational skills with high accuracy.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage inventory levels and maintain stock records with regular checks.
• liaise with carriers and drivers to confirm delivery and pickup schedules.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation in line with company policies.
• Address and resolve logistical issues and discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders about shipment status.
