Placements24 is seeking a diligent Dispatch Clerk for our Richards Bay facility. You will manage the processing and dispatch of outgoing goods, ensuring accurate picking, packing and timely shipment to meet customer deadlines.

You will work closely with warehouse staff and transport providers, maintain dispatch records, and update stakeholders on any delays. This entry point in logistics suits organized, hands-on individuals who thrive in busy environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or dispatch role is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process all outgoing orders accurately and efficiently, generating dispatch notes.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely picking, packing, and staging of goods for shipment.
• Schedule pick-ups with courier and freight companies , ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods and shipping information.
• Communicate any delays or issues to relevant internal departments and external stakeholders.
