Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Experience using inventory management and customer-specific logistics systems.
• Strong knowledge of JIT/JIS/BOM processes.
• Experience with inventory management systems and customer-specific logistics software.
• Experience with JIT/JIS/BOM and expediting.
• CMS system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cycle counts on all materials and goods.
• Verify parts for counting are processed accurately.
• Monitor and control logistics processes.
• Monitor & control incoming, internal & outgoing logistics
• Lead stock take procedures, including all pre-stock take procedures
• Assist in Logistics Performance Monitoring and all KPI's
• Participate & perform BOM audits
• Take the lead on optimizing packaging material & container utilization
• Initiate and drive CI projects, related to the logistics department

• Manage daily cycle counts on all materials/Goods receiving and dispatching


• ASN


• Verify parts identified for count are processed on the system


• Monitor & control incoming, internal & outgoing logistics


• Key player during stock take procedure, including all pre-stock take procedures


• Assist in the Logistics Performance Monitoring and all KPI’s


• Participate & perform BOM audits


• Take the lead on optimizing packaging material & container utilization


• Initiate and drive CI projects, related to the logistics department

Requirements:

• Logistics Diploma/Degree


• 5 years experience within a similar role specifically within the automotive industry


• Experience of inventory management systems & customer specific logistics related systems
