About the Role

Our client, a prominent logistics firm with extensive operations across South Africa, is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics and Fleet Supervisor to oversee their fleet management and operational efficiency in the Benoni, Gauteng region. This role requires a blend of on-site supervision of fleet activities and remote oversight of administrative functions, route optimization, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of fleet management, and excellent communication skills. This position is vital in ensuring the smooth, safe, and cost-effective operation of our client's transport division. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage both personnel and operational challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of drivers and fleet personnel in the Benoni area.
• Oversee the daily scheduling and dispatching of vehicles to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to optimize costs and efficiency.
