About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Fleet Operations Supervisor to manage their vehicle fleet and driver team in Pretoria . This hands-on role involves ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of all fleet operations, from maintenance scheduling to driver performance monitoring. You will be a key figure in maintaining the operational integrity of our client's delivery services within the Gauteng region. This position requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of fleet management best practices to support the daily functions of the transportation department .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of drivers and fleet support staff, ensuring adherence to schedules and company policies.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
• Monitor driver performance, including driving habits, adherence to routes, and customer interaction, providing coaching as needed.
