About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics and Fleet Manager to oversee their transportation operations in Durban. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of drivers, vehicles, and logistical processes, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance delivery performance.
• Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of drivers, ensuring optimal route planning and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for drivers and vehicles, conducting regular audits and training sessions.
• Analyze logistics data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery success rates.
