Job summary

AnyVan Ltd. in Cape Town is seeking an Allocations specialist to keep jobs moving by engaging transport partners and optimising routes. You will manage pipelines, allocate jobs, and negotiate rates to maximise profitability while delivering excellent service to customers.

The role requires strong Excel and communication skills, experience in transport/logistics, and the ability to work onsite five days a week with Weekend/Evening rotation. Familiarity with UK/EU markets is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial contact centre/transport broker or live control/logistics role.
• Knowledge of the UK/EU market is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own the allocation process and proactively reach out to transport providers to pitch jobs.
• Manage pipelines and assign jobs to providers to keep them engaged and profitable.
• Build and maintain TP networks, know availability, vehicles, locations and rates.
• Create routes and schedules for multi-job loads; monitor routes to schedule.
• Resolve issues quickly with TPs and customers; reallocate when needed.
• Handle admin tasks like proof of delivery checks and updating customers.
