Job summary

Pick n Pay Retailers is seeking a Liquor Store Supervisor to manage all aspects of the liquor operation, maximise turnover, profitability and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with liquor legislation, policies, merchandising standards and SOPs.

The role requires a Grade 12, 2 years supervisory experience, liquor department exposure, knowledge of products and SAP experience is advantageous; you will lead merchandising, customer service, people management and cost control in a busy

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Previous experience in a Wine/Liquor department or managing a retail department.
Knowledge of liquor products, trends, and responsible trading requirements.
Experience working with SAP or similar retail systems (advantageous).

Responsibilities

Merchandising Management: Execute the approved plano guide in line with company standards and ensure stock rotation.
Customer Service Management: Deliver excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.
People Management & Development: Evaluate performance, staff scheduling, and development.
Finance & Administration: Manage department expenses, equipment, and waste control.
