Job summary

OceanHub Africa (OHA) seeks a Lighthouse Operations Intern to support coordination and delivery for the 1000 Ocean Startups network, with a focus on building the Africa regional community ahead of the Our Ocean Conference 2026.

You will gain hands-on experience in community operations, stakeholder coordination, and global ocean action, contributing to impactful sustainability initiatives and the 1000OS Africa launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, international relations, environmental studies, business studies, or related field.
• Strong coordination, research, and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of Airtable.
• Ability to translate information into clear, professional communications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Workstream and governance processes.
• Coordinate operational activities across the Lighthouse Team.
• Assist with planning and delivery of the 1000OS Africa regional launch.
• Track community engagement and workflows using Airtable.
• Support stakeholder engagement, materials development, and reporting.
