Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Leisure Centre Manager to lead operations at a vibrant facility in George. You will drive membership growth, oversee fitness, aquatic and sports offerings, and ensure top-tier safety and cleanliness.

This role requires strong leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences in a busy community hub. You will manage a diverse team, develop strategic plans to boost participation and revenue, and monitor budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leisure centre or hospitality leadership.
• Strong knowledge of facility operations and health and safety.
• Experience in sales, marketing and membership growth strategies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Budgeting and financial planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including fitness, aquatic, and sports facilities.
• Develop and implement plans to increase membership, programming, and revenue.
• Lead a diverse team of staff including instructors, receptionists, and maintenance.
• Ensure facilities and equipment meet safety, cleanliness, and readiness standards.
• Develop and manage the centre budget, control costs, and seek financial improvements.
• Deliver excellent customer service and engaging experiences for members and visitors.
