Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in managing recreational facilities or sports complexes.
• A qualification in Recreation Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the recreation centre, including staffing, scheduling, and facility upkeep.
• Develop, implement, and promote a diverse range of recreational programs, sports leagues, and fitness classes.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate centre staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service.
• Oversee the centre's budget, managing revenue streams, controlling expenses, and achieving financial targets.
• Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and well-maintained, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Engage with the local community to identify needs and opportunities for new programs and partnerships.
