Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Leisure Centre Manager to oversee operations at a Midrand facility. You will lead a team, manage budgeting and program delivery, and drive membership growth in a health-focused community.

The role requires proven facility-management experience, strong leadership, and financial oversight. A related Bachelor's degree is preferred, with opportunities for development and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leisure facility management or similar role.
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance member experience and achieve business objectives.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including facility maintenance, scheduling, and program delivery.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate all centre staff, ensuring high performance and excellent customer service.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to ensure profitability.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase membership and program participation.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
