Placements24 is seeking a Legal Associate for its financial services client in Midrand, Gauteng. The role supports the legal team with research, drafting, and compliance tasks in a collaborative corporate environment.

The ideal candidate holds an LLB, is admitted to practice (desirable), and has 1–3 years of post-qualification experience, with strong written and verbal communication and excellent attention to detail.

About the Role

Our client, a reputable financial services provider, is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join their legal department. This role is based in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. The Legal Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team by undertaking legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with compliance matters. This is an excellent entry point for a burgeoning legal professional eager to gain exposure to a wide array of legal issues within a structured corporate environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal staff, contributing to the smooth functioning of legal operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
