Placements24 is seeking a Junior Legal Advisor to join its growing legal department in Cape Town. You will support senior lawyers, conduct research, review documents, and help ensure policy and regulatory compliance within a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

• LLB degree or equivalent qualification.
• Admitted as a Legal Practitioner or eligible for admission.
• Up to 2 years of post-qualification experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and amending a variety of legal documents and contracts.
• Conduct legal research on specific issues and prepare concise reports for senior colleagues.
• Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Help manage legal databases and maintain organized legal files and records.
• Provide administrative support to the legal department as needed, including scheduling meetings and preparing presentations.
