Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supplier contracts, and NDAs.

• Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation and drafting to execution and renewal/termination.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand contract requirements and provide clear legal advice.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Admission as an Attorney or Advocate of the High Court of South Africa is advantageous but not essential for this contract role.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in contract law and commercial contract management.
• Strong understanding of contract drafting principles and negotiation strategies.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal documents.
• Proficiency in legal research and standard contract management software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal terms clearly.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
