The International Hotel School Benoni Campus invites applications for a Patisserie Lecturer to teach theory and pastry practical sessions, guiding eager students on their culinary careers.

You will track student progress, support counselling, contribute to curriculum improvements, and lead pastry competitions and excursions.

To qualify, you should have a minimum NQF 5 in hospitality, City & Guilds Diploma in Food Prep and Patisserie, and certified assessors training.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct theory lectures and kitchen pastry practical sessions
• Ensure a passrate of 85% and throughput rate of 90% is achieved
• Student tracking, counselling and support
• Input toward curriculum development and improvement
• Apply assessment principles as per assessor code of conduct
• Industry time and research
• Taking the lead on all Competitions
• In charge of Pastry Based Excursions for the students
