• Must be registered with ECSA as Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist

Responsibilities

• Lecture Mechanical Engineering subjects as required at undergraduate and postgraduate level
• Participate in academic development and administration
• Participate in curriculum and programme development
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities
• Participate in research activities
• Assist students with projects and productions
• Develop and maintain links with industry and professional bodies
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Contribute to departmental projects and service-learning activities
• Attend conferences and publish in accredited journals or conference proceedings
