Qualifications

• Essential: BSc Eng/B Eng/BEng and MSc (Eng) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Research-active in these fields.
• Ability to conduct and supervise research up to master’s level.
• Evidence of secured funding would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic undergraduate materials for Mechanical/Industrial/Aeronautical/Mechatronic courses; eligible for Professional Engineer registration.
• Evidence of research in Just Energy Transition, Water Resource Management, or Digitalization advantageous.
• Teaching experience in Industrial Business Management, Mechanical Thermodynamics, Mechanical Statics & Dynamics, Mechatronic Systems, and Engineering Design advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching (limited course load, typically 1 course per year).
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students (fractional appointment aligned).
• Produce research outputs and participate in funded projects.
• Engage with industry and professional bodies.
• Provide limited academic administration and service.
