Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Lean Manufacturing Facilitator to join their remote team, driving continuous improvement across production facilities. The role focuses on applying Lean principles to promote efficiency, waste reduction, and operational excellence, including training staff and guiding Kaizen events.

You will coach teams in 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban and other Lean tools, develop KPIs, and enable sustainable performance improvements in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong facilitation, training, and coaching skills.
• Remote environment project management and change leadership.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and training sessions.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lean Manufacturing Facilitator to join their remote team, driving continuous improvement initiatives across their production facilities. This role is paramount in promoting a culture of efficiency, waste reduction, and operational excellence through the application of Lean principles. You will be responsible for training staff, guiding Kaizen events, and implementing Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban. This position requires a strong understanding of Lean methodologies and the ability to coach and inspire teams to achieve higher levels of productivity and quality, all within a remote working framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives , including Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions.
• Implement and promote Lean tools and techniques such as 5S, Six Sigma, VSM, and Poka-Yoke.
• Identify opportunities for waste reduction and process improvement across all operational areas.
• Coach and mentor employees at all levels on Lean principles and their application.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of Lean initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lean Manufacturing Facilitator or in a similar continuous improvement role.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in implementing Lean tools and achieving measurable results.
• Excellent facilitation, training, and coaching skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
