Placements24 is seeking a passionate Lean Engineer to drive continuous improvement in a fully remote capacity. You will lead Kaizen events, implement 5S, VSM, Kanban and JIT, and mentor teams to eliminate waste and raise efficiency across operations.

With 4+ years of hands-on lean experience and a strong Six Sigma background, you will partner with leadership to embed lean in daily work and strategic planning while maintaining clear communication in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years lean implementation experience.
• Proven track record in facilitating lean workshops.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Excellent remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events and workshops to eliminate waste in processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
• Develop and implement lean strategies, including 5S, Value Stream Mapping , Kanban, and Just-In-Time (JIT) systems.
• Analyze production and operational data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
• Develop standard work procedures and train employees on lean principles and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lean practices into daily operations and strategic planning.
• Monitor the sustained effectiveness of implemented lean initiatives and provide ongoing support and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience implementing lean methodologies in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proven expertise in facilitating lean workshops and driving continuous improvement projects.
• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, especially in a remote context.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
