Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Assembly Manager for a Roodepoort plastics facility. You will oversee daily assembly operations, safety, quality, and output, and drive stock control and continuous improvement.

The role requires leadership of a production team and hands-on expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices. Qualifications include N6 in Mechanical Engineering or Matric with Maths/English, plus 5+ years in a similar plastics environment and supervisory

Qualifications

• N6 or Matric with Mathematics and English required.
• Minimum 5 years production experience in plastics, preferably injection moulding.
• 5+ years supervisory/management experience essential.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and 6S principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Assembly Department.
• Manage safety, quality and production targets.
• Control stock and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop employees and optimize manufacturing flow.
