Job summary

Quorum Property Group in Johannesburg is seeking a Lead Caller to drive lead generation, schedule property viewings and convert enquiries into applications. You will liaise with prospective tenants, explain rental terms and guide them through the leasing process.

You will manage inbound and outbound enquiries across the Residential Portfolio, maintain CRM records, track lead status and help the leasing team meet occupancy targets while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• 2+ years in call centre, sales, customer service or leasing.
• Experience handling high volumes of enquiries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job description

The Lead Caller will play a critical role in generating leads, maintaining occupancy levels and supporting the leasing team by engaging with prospective tenants and converting enquiries into viewings and applications.

The Lead Caller is responsible for managing and converting inbound and outbound leasing enquiries across the Residential Portfolio. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective tenants, ensuring excellent customer service while maximising viewing appointments, applications, and occupancy rates.

The Lead Caller will be expected to proactively engage with tenants, schedule property viewings, and maintain accurate records within the Company’s CRM systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties include but are not limited to the following:

LEAD MANAGEMENT:

• Respond promptly to all rental enquiries received via phone, email, website, social media, and property listing platforms.
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective tenants and follow up on existing leads.
• Qualify leads based on rental criteria, budget, location preference, and availability.
• Convert qualified leads into property viewings and rental applications.
• Maintain consistent follow-up communication with prospects throughout the leasing process.

PORTFOLIO SUPPORT:

• Promote properties within the Residential Portfolio to prospective tenants.
• Match tenant requirements with available units.
• Provide accurate information regarding rental rates, property features, amenities, lease terms, and application requirements.
• Assist in achieving occupancy and leasing targets across the portfolio.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Deliver professional and friendly service to all prospective tenants.
• Address customer questions and concerns effectively.
• Build positive relationships with prospects to enhance the Company’s reputation and customer experience.

ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTING:

• Maintain accurate records of all interactions within CRM and leasing systems.
• Track enquiry sources, lead status, and conversion outcomes.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
• Monitor call volumes, response times, and lead conversion metrics.

COLLABORATION:

• Work closely with the Leasing Agents, Property Managers and site teams.
• Coordinate viewing appointments and communicate schedule changes.
• Share market feedback and customer insights with management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Matric Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a call centre, sales, customer service or leasing environment.
• Experience in handling high volumes of customer enquiries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
