Placements24 is seeking a Lead Visual Effects Artist to lead a remote team in delivering stunning VFX for feature films, episodic television, and high-end advertising. You will shape artistic direction, mentor junior artists, and ensure top quality across all sequences.

You will collaborate with directors and department heads, develop innovative workflows, stay current with VFX tech, and manage timelines and client reviews from your dedicated home office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Visual Effects Artist, with a significant portion in a lead or supervisory role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of high-quality VFX work across various platforms.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard VFX software such as Houdini, Maya, Nuke, and After Effects.
• Demonstrated experience with 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
• Excellent understanding of cinematography, composition, and color theory.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a remote team.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
