Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Lead VFX Artist to guide a fully remote team in delivering cutting-edge visual effects for film, television, and interactive media. You will lead, mentor, and coordinate the VFX artists, ensuring high-quality sequences and on-time delivery.

Collaborate with directors and supervisors to define visual style and technical requirements, troubleshoot pipeline challenges, and push creative boundaries while maintaining a remote-first workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in visual effects, with a lead or senior role.
• Experience leading and managing remote creative teams.
• Expertise in Maya, Houdini, 3ds Max and rendering engines (e.g., Arnold, RenderMan).
• Strong understanding of compositing software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
• Exceptional artistic eye for composition, color, lighting, and motion.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
