Placements24 is seeking a Senior VFX Artist for a fully remote position working on high-profile feature films. You will craft photorealistic visual effects, including environments, creatures, and destruction, collaborating with VFX Supervisors and Directors to realize the creative vision.

The role requires mastery of Nuke and a major 3D package (Maya, Houdini, or 3ds Max), strong color theory, lighting, and renderers such as V-Ray/Arnold/Redshift, plus Python scripting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional VFX experience in feature films.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating compositing, 3D, and simulation.
• Expert in Nuke and at least one major 3D package.

Responsibilities

• Expert proficiency in Nuke and at least one major 3D software package (e.g., Maya, Houdini, 3ds Max).
• Deep understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, and photorealism.
• Experience with renderers such as V-Ray, Arnold, or Redshift.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
