The role requires a National Diploma or Degree in Surveying or Geomatics with at least five years as a Mine Surveyor in underground environments. You will work with AutoCAD and Deswik and use total stations, scanners and GPS to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Mine Surveyor in underground mining.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Deswik; familiar with total stations, scanners, GPS.
• Knowledge of mining legislation and surveying standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground mine surveying activities including control, setting out, as-built surveys.
• Maintain mine plans, sections, and 3D models of underground workings.
• Perform volumetric calculations for ore, waste, and equipment usage.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of surveying equipment and software.
• Ensure compliance with legal survey requirements and company standards.
