Job summary

AECOM in South Africa is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead structural design teams on diverse infrastructure projects. You will supervise junior engineers, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality outputs using BIM tools such as Revit and Tekla.

You will also engage with clients to manage expectations and ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree (M.Eng/MSc.Eng), is Pr.Eng registered with ECSA, and has 8+ years of post-qualification

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural) is required.
• At least 8 years’ experience post obtaining qualification.
• Professionally registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng for at least 3 years.
• Ability to develop key and trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team of junior and mid-level Structures staff and provide mentorship to ensure design excellence.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver fully coordinated design deliverables.
• Deliver high-quality design outputs and supervise design documentation.
• Interface with clients on schedules, meetings, and issues.
