Placements24 seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design of various building projects in Mahikeng, North West. You will oversee concept through completion, ensuring safety, integrity and efficient structural solutions in collaboration with architects and construction teams.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering high-quality designs for commercial and residential buildings in the North West region.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Eng in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Proficient in ETABS, SAFE and Revit software.
• Experience leading diverse building projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the structural design process for building projects from concept to completion.
• Perform complex structural analysis and calculations for foundations, beams, columns, and slabs.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
