Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Solar Project Manager to spearhead solar energy initiatives in George. The role oversees planning, execution, and commissioning of PV projects from site surveys to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and top quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, conducting feasibility studies, and maintaining safety and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically within the solar energy industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, installation processes, and relevant technologies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of solar energy projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential solar installations.
• Ensure projects adhere to all safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
