Job summary

The role requires proven supervisory experience in mining or construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of safety regulations and equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within mining or construction.
• Examiner Makesafe qualification is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mining operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-related issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities on large open cast mining operations.
• Ensure that all site operations adhere to safety standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with plant operators, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and minimal downtime.
• Lead a team of on-site personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources and delivering quality service.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
