Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Construction Site Supervisor to oversee residential projects in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will lead daily site operations, coordinate trades, ensure workmanship quality, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience in residential construction, strong reading of blueprints, knowledge of building codes, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, methods, and materials for residential projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• First Aid and Health & Safety certification is advantageous.
• Good communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, including scheduling trades and monitoring progress.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on the site.
• Ensure quality control across workers and subcontractors.
• Manage site resources, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain daily site logs and safety/compliance reports.
• Communicate progress and issues with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
