Placements24 is seeking a diligent Construction Site Supervisor to oversee residential projects in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will lead daily site operations, coordinate trades, ensure workmanship quality, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience in residential construction, strong reading of blueprints, knowledge of building codes, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, methods, and materials for residential projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing daily site operations, coordinating trades, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, including scheduling trades, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations on the construction site, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensure quality control standards are met by all workers and subcontractors on site.
• Manage site resources, including tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring efficient utilization.
• Maintain accurate daily site logs, including progress reports, incident reports, and safety compliance records.
• Communicate effective with project managers, architects, and subcontractors regarding site progress and potential issues.
