Placements24 seeks a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on projects in Port Elizabeth. You will supervise tradespeople, coordinate work schedules, monitor progress, and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring activities meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience as a Site Supervisor/Foreman, strong knowledge of construction trades, and the ability to lead on-site teams while complying with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction trades, techniques, and procedures.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor construction progress and report on performance against the project schedule.
• Implement and enforce site safety rules, conduct safety briefings, and address safety concerns.
• Inspect work performed by trades to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
