Job summary

Two-a-Day Group (Pty) Limited in Grabouw seeks a Receiving Foreman to lead the Receiving team in our Cold Stores department. The role reports to the Cold Stores Receiving Manager and emphasizes self-driven, analytical work with continuous improvement mindset.

It requires supervisory experience, strong communication, a valid driver’s licence and willingness to work shifts and overtime, with HACCP/BRC familiarity advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• 3–5 years' relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, cold storage or related operations.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
• Knowledge of HACCP/BRC standards would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate the Receiving team and ensure daily task allocation.
• Coach employees and address performance and disciplinary matters as needed.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and clear communication within the team.
• Supervise receiving and fruit-handling activities and ensure correct stock placement.
• Monitor stock movements, rotation and accuracy of bin storage.
• Coordinate team to support production requirements and meet time frames.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, Health & Safety and company procedures.
